POLICIEs & FAq’s

  • Tuition may be paid in full at the beginning of the semester or divided into monthly payments, which are billed automatically each month unless otherwise notified. Payments can be set up using:

    • Credit Card Payment (3.9% + $0.30 per transaction)

    • Direct Debit (1.9% Stripe fee applies)

This flexible payment system ensures convenience and consistency for our families throughout the semester.

  • We offer one trial class for new students.

    • If you choose to register for the semester, the trial class will be included in your semester fees.

    • If you decide not to register after the trial class, the class will be free of charge.

Please email us to schedule your trial class. We look forward to welcoming you to Grace Ballet!

  • A $50 administrative fee per family, per semester helps cover essential operational costs that keep our ballet school running smoothly. This includes expenses such as office supplies, stickers for young dancers, insurance coverage, scheduling software, and registration management systems. These resources ensure a well-organized and safe environment for all our students and families.

  • To ensure students have sufficient time to develop the necessary skills and technique for our Graduation Gala performance, registration must be completed by February 1st.

    • Students who register after February 1st will not be eligible to participate in the Graduation Gala.

    • These students may still purchase a tutu, trophy, and certificate, which will be awarded during a regular class session.

    • For students under the age of 7, tutus may be worn in class as an optional addition to the class uniform.

This policy ensures fairness, proper preparation, and an enjoyable experience for all students involved in the Graduation Gala. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

  • All purchases and semester fees are final, and refunds or credits are not provided.

    • If you join during a semester, your tuition will be pro-rated accordingly.

    • Adult students who accidentally book a class by mistake may request a refund, provided they notify us promptly before attending the class.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in supporting a smooth and transparent enrollment process.

  • Students may attend up to 2 make-up classes per semester in a class of the same level or below, based on availability. Make-up classes can only be scheduled in classes that are not fully booked.

To maintain our class size limit of 12 students and ensure quality instruction, make-up classes in your specific level may not always be available. In case of absence due to travel, illness, or other reasons, children 5 years old and up may attend a Body Mechanics Class as an alternative for one make-up session.

We kindly ask families to prioritize attending all scheduled classes to ensure the best possible learning experience.

If a student misses more than 4 classes per semester, it will be at the discretion of Grace Ballet to determine if they are adequately prepared to participate in the Graduation Gala.

Please note: There are no refunds or class credits for missed classes.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in supporting a structured and enriching dance environment.

  • Attendance Policy

If a student misses more than 4 classes per semester, Grace Ballet reserves the right to reconsider future enrollment, especially in fully booked classes.

Our classes often have waitlisted students eager to join, and consistent attendance is essential to ensure fairness and maintain the quality of our programs. Frequent absences due to non-illness or non-injury-related reasons may impact a student's ability to remain enrolled in high-demand classes.

We appreciate your commitment to prioritizing attendance and supporting an equitable experience for all students.

  • Photo and Media Policy

Grace Ballet may share images from our classes and ballet productions on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, and Yelp.

If you do not consent to photos of your child being used, please notify us in writing by opting out and contacting us directly via email at geraldine@graceballetlosangeles.com.

Your child's privacy and your preferences are important to us, and we will respect your request.

  • We are pleased to offer a discount for children attending multiple classes per week.

    • The first class is billed at full price.

    • For students attending two or more classes per week, a $20 discount per additional class will be applied.

This discount is our way of supporting dedicated students who are committed to enhancing their ballet education through more frequent practice.

  • If a class is canceled due to weather, force majeure, or unforeseen circumstances, students may schedule a make-up class, subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate make-up opportunities whenever possible.

  • At Grace Ballet, we are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and focused learning environment for all students.

    • Disruptive behavior, refusal to follow instructions, or actions that compromise the safety or well-being of others, including bullying, will not be tolerated.

    • If a student engages in such behavior, Grace Ballet reserves the right to remove them from the class temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the situation.

We ask parents and students to work together with us to ensure a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every dancer can thrive.

  • Grace Ballet is not responsible for any lost or stolen items within the studio or its facilities. We recommend that students and parents keep valuables at home and ensure all personal belongings are labeled and stored securely during class.

A Lost and Found basket is located on top of the cubbies for misplaced items. Any unclaimed items after 6 months will be donated to charity.

  • In the event of an emergency, if a parent or guardian cannot be reached, you authorize Grace Ballet, its staff, and agents to seek necessary medical attention for the student.

    • Emergency contact numbers must be provided for every student, including children through to adults.

    • Any allergies, medical conditions, or learning disabilities must be disclosed at the time of enrollment to ensure proper care and support.

Your child's safety and well-being are our top priority, and having accurate information allows us to respond effectively in emergency situations.
