    About Machatz:

The study of Martial Arts in Machatz form is a fun and invigorating experience. Machatz incorporates many different Martial Art forms into one, all encompassing, self- defense-system. Machatz has a different philosophy as to the progression of the belt system than most other Art forms. We don't require a person to devote at least four years of their life to become a black belt. A black belt can be achieved as early as six months. We do not withhold any knowledge from the student. In addition to the basic moves and principals of Machatz, we teach our students all the movements of the upper belts in the early months of training. Therefore within a short period of time a student develops the knowledge and understanding of an experienced Martial Artist. Our philosophy is that, once you have the Machatz knowledge, its up to you to develop it and strengthen it. We allow our students to come into their own with Machatz, and during that process our staff encourages and supplements the knowledge with extended training. The Machatz concept of Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom is a powerful tool that applies to any aspect of life. The philosophy of Machatz allows an individual to find fast and easy solutions to complicated problems. Whether they are personal, financial, or physical.

Let Machatz show you how easy it is to turn high stress level situations into Zero stress level situations.

Berangere Altier

Photographer. Visit their site here.

  • I am better known in the anglophone world as “Bear”. I was born in Dunkirk France, raised in Paris, Dublin, Bangkok and Hong Kong, and I currently reside in Los Angeles.

It all started with a fascination in college for film photography, building a darkroom in my own bathroom, learning the process of patience to create the perfect print. However the fast digital world of photography came soon after as I started working as a sports and event and now dance photographer.
